Our Commitment to Accessibility

Accessibility is a human and fundamental right, essential to living independently and equally and participating fully in all aspects of life. While accessibility is often discussed in relation to persons with disabilities, it benefits everyone—from parents with strollers and elderly people to someone with a temporary injury or pregnant women. Yet, many buildings and environments remain inaccessible, making it difficult for people to access essential services, workplaces, and public facilities.

At CBM India, as an empaneled access auditor under the ‘Accessible India Campaign’ (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan) by the Government of India, we work towards breaking down these barriers through our accessibility audit services so that everyone can navigate the world with dignity and ease.

How We Do It

Our team conducts detailed assessments of physical spaces across various sectors, such as offices, government buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities. These audits help identify obstacles to access and provide practical recommendations to make spaces more inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

In the past, we have conducted access audits of the following spaces.

Educational Institutions

Corporate Workplaces

Hospitals and Health Facilities

Public Buildings and Transport
