Objective:

➢ To assist in organizing and carrying out the trainings as per the schedule.
➢ To organize field visits and coordinate with the students and the training supervisor.
➢ To assist in report writing.  To evaluate the students’ performance on monthly basis and report to the training supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Ensure the training program is conducted at CBM India Trust’s field location, strictly following RCI’s prescribed standard curriculum, guidelines, and nomenclature.
➢ Coordinate with the training supervisor for the execution of the training program, including conducting exams.
➢ Facilitate and support Kannada translation during sessions.
➢ Provide field-level support and mentorship for trainees to complete their field assignments.
➢ Supervise, support, and monitor trainees during face-to-face theory sessions, field visits, and field work.
➢ Coordinate with the training supervisor for all field placements, including collaborations with government departments, NGOs, and faculty.
➢ Organize and coordinate institutional visits.
➢ Plan and prepare logistical arrangements for daily field tasks, including orientation programs, exposure visits, exams, and meetings.
➢ Provide executive support in organizing events, meetings, and workshops for trainees.
➢ Meet day-to-day training needs at both the field and training centre.
➢ Organize and maintain the field office, equipment, and belongings as per CBM training or admin/HR team requirements.
➢ Mentor, guide, and counsel trainees as needed.
➢ Ensure all student materials, test questions, and documents are translated, typed, and ready for printing.
➢ Support trainees with Moodle platform access and provide guidance for any training-related needs.
➢ Facilitate task completion of assignments, group activities, and major field projects (surveys, awareness programs, community projects).
➢ Support trainees in preparing for exams and periodic tests, including the correction and uploading of student assignments and tests to Moodle.
➢ Conduct individual observational assessments using rubrics.
Keep records of all field placements, overall expenses, and submit reports along with monthly updates.
➢ Prepare work plans and present daily, monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly reports on field activities and challenges, including mitigation plans.
➢ Submit reports in agreed formats, including trainee attendance and monthly updates to DDWO/RDPR/CBM India Trust.
➢ Compile and document data for major group activities, such as surveys and community projects.
➢ Support and coordinate with visiting RCI experts or other officials assessing field-level training facilities.
➢ Attend meetings as a CBM representative, either virtually or physically, including visits to the Bangalore office, as needed.Manage field office settings, including office maintenance, equipment, and other resources.
➢ Collect and document trainee particulars and maintain leave application files.
➢ Ensure trainee attendance is submitted to relevant authorities by the 1st of every month.
➢ Train and prepare trainees for exams and support the conduction of periodic tests.
➢ Be available Monday to Friday, and additionally on Saturdays if required.

Qualifications and other requirements:
➢ Speak, read and write both Kannada and English.
➢ Preference to those with experience in training program and work experience in the field of disability
➢ Preferable: Bachelor’s degree and fieldwork experience
➢ Intercultural knowledge and sensitivity to issues of disability.
