Donation Refund Policy
CBM India also recognises that a donation may be made in error or donors may change their mind. CBM India will examine each request for refund of donation and attempt to make the refund. CBM India may also seek further information / documents and donor must co-operate in this regard.
However, CBM India is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
If you would like your donation to CBM India to be refunded, a written request / email stating reason for requesting refund must be sent to Srinivas, Campaign Associate (srinivas.ravichandran@cbm.org) with the following details:
- Date of donation
- Donation amount
- For cheque/ draft payments – cheque/draft no.
- For credit card payments – credit card number (Last 4 digits only), credit card provider name, transaction number
- For online payments – Donation-ID.
Request received later than 5 days after receipt of the donation will not be processed.
