Objective:
➢ Overall in charge for ensuring that the training for the CBID students are conducted successfully. Ensure coordination with all trainers, students and ensure relevant reporting as per the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Support and coordinate with visiting experts from RCI.
➢ Schedule and coordinate meetings with staff, faculty, visiting experts, and students.
➢ Ensure teaching and learning materials are available for both faculty and students, per the session plans.
➢ Support trainees in completing field assignments.
➢ Supervise, support, and monitor trainees during face-to-face theory sessions, field visits, and field work.
➢ Mentor, guide, and counsel trainees as needed.
➢ Coordinate with field supervisors for field placements and institutional visits with government departments, NGOs, and faculty.
➢ Submit reports on field activities and institutional visits.
➢ Provide executive support for organizing events, meetings, and workshops for trainees.
➢ Meet day-to-day training needs in both the field and at the training centre.
➢ Manage the project’s overall budget and facilitate payments for visiting faculty as per RCI guidelines.
➢ Manage human and material resources for the course.
➢ Prepare and submit daily, monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly reports, including program completion reports, to CBM India Trust for RCI.
➢ Monitor indicators to ensure the timely implementation of planned programs.
➢ Represent CBM in RCI meetings and attend CBM meetings, including visits to the Bangalore office and field locations.
➢ Correspond with stakeholders and obtain approval from designated authorities.
➢ Conduct sessions as a faculty member when required.
➢ Be available Monday to Friday, and additionally on Saturday if required.
➢ Attend and apply learnings from training programs scheduled by the Council to improve the CBID training.
➢ Submit reports as per agreed schedules and formats.
Facilitate adherence to payment schedules for visiting faculty.
Qualifications and other requirements:
➢ Speak, read and write both Kannada and English.
➢ Preference to those with experience in training program and work experience in the field of disability.
➢ Preferable: Master’s degree and work experience from academic background.
➢ Intercultural knowledge and sensitivity to issues of disability.
