Objective:
Reach out and establish meaningful alliances and relationships with multilateral/bilateral,
foundations, corporate, major donors and institutions alongside of CBM India networks and
alliances for development and sustainability of the organisation with grants.

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with CBM programme team and advisors, the person will take the lead in
• Identify, influence and build relationship with suitable institutional and foundation
and HNI partners aligning with objectives of CBM India and ensure more financial
resources and influence available for disability inclusion programs.
• Meet with partners in collaboration with programme directors and develop potential
collaborations aligning with mission of CBM India.
• Conduct problem analysis and validation workshops with CBM programme team, and
possible other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective design of the interventions.
• Develop a compelling, evidence-based concept note in accordance with Request for
Proposal guidelines or private philanthropic donors’ interest based on the primary
and secondary information gathered.
• When the concept note is selected, design a programme, including logical framework
(LFA), budget, and write an integrated, evidence based full proposal.
• Scoping, reviewing, analysing, and integrating existing plans, projects, and areas of
expertise of CBM, its partners and other stakeholders will be integral part of the role
• Ensure continuous and effective donors reporting is done in association with
programme monitoring & evaluation team with a project tracking system.

What we are looking for: Education, Professional experience, Language, Methods,
Competencies, Personal Traits

• Minimum 5 to7 years of experience from leading the design, execution, and/or
management of multi-sectoral community-based programmes.
• Preferably an advanced university degree (masters or equivalent) in development
studies or related field from a reputed Indian or International university.
• Strong programme design skills, including capacity to prepare logical, coherent, and
consistent technical documents including log-frames and budgets.
• Prior demonstrated experience from developing and writing proposals for
institutional donors, in particular DFID, USAID, UN, BMZ and large foundations.
• Excellent English speaking/writing skills required; prior experience of facilitating or
speaking in multi-stakeholders’ workshops and dialogues

on inclusive education/vocational skills and livelihoods, and health.
• Has the ability to understand risks and vulnerabilities of target communities and
analysis of the current gaps of relevant stakeholders to ensure that the designed
programme addresses unmet needs.
• Ability to integrate different experiences, methodologies, and approaches from a
diverse range of stakeholders, organisations, and technical experts from multiple
sectors
• Willingness and ability to travel to the field conceptualisation of programs aligning
with donor call for proposals and project reporting.
